Our function room can hold up to eighty guests. It has a fully stocked bar with beers & cider on tap.
We regularly host Weddings, Private dining events (up to 40 guests), Canape/buffet/drinks parties up to 80 guests, Birthdays, Christenings, Parents evenings, Meetings, Workshops, Coffee mornings, Kids parties and much more.
For catering purposes we will happily work with you to bespoke a menu to suit your budget & requirements.
The Lordship is also available for full exclusive private hire for large corporate events, weddings etc.

Apologies for the late reply. We got in from Rome last night. Just trying to hold on to that holiday feeling by forlornly making espresso's!
We just wanted to say how much we appreciated both your and your team's efforts last Thursday. What a day! We couldn't have hoped for a better time at the Lordship.
The friendly, "can do" Service from your guys made it all so much smoother. Chris was a star. The food was fantastic. We had several people tell us that it was the best food they had ever had at a wedding (and we have pretty foodie friends!)
We can't thank you enough for letting us use the Lordship and helping to make our day that bit more special. We'll be recommending it to all our friends and family as a great place for a function(wedding or otherwise). Trip advisor review to follow.

Thank you so much for everything on Friday. We had such a brilliant day and
The Lordship was the perfect venue. We got so many comments about the
delicious food, the pub looked beautiful and you and all of your staff were
so fantastic at looking after us and all of our guests impeccably. You've
been so helpful every step of the way too. We're really grateful. We left a
very big slab of wedding cake as a thank you to you all which I hope you got
a slice of.
Thank you so much again for all of your help. We couldn't fault the venue
and will be recommending the Lordship as a wedding reception venue left,
right and centre.

2nd January, 2017:
Happy new year! We had such a great time, thank you, and the staff were all lovely. It was our second best party ever (our wedding still wins) and the room was perfect, everyone loved the free flowing booze and the food and we took the food we didn't finish to a New Year's Day party yesterday where it got gobbled up. We did a great play list and the smoke machine and laser were a big hit and everyone had a brilliant time. Hurray!
Thank you for letting us book so early and for helping to make it so much fun. We will see you in the pub when we can face going out again!

I hope you had a good weekend.
We’re just writing to say a massive ‘Thank You’ to you and your staff for Saturday night. The pub looked lovely, all your staff were so friendly, helpful and patient and the food was delicious! We’ve had so many people comment on how you’d all done such an amazing job and how excellent the food was.
The whole party was such a success, largely because of your organising and staff. Thank you so much! Will definitely be recommending it to everyone (actually, one friend’s already asked for details as she’s thinking of planning a party too).
