Our first floor function room

Our first-floor function room is ideal for family celebrations, private dining, birthday parties, Christenings, engagement parties, weddings, corporate away days, courses, meetings, etc.

We can hold up to forty guests for a private dining event or up to seventy guests for a more informal canape/buffet/drinks party!

Our function room has a fully serviced bar with a craft lager & a pale ale on tap.

Your event

You are welcome to bring a device to plug into our system to play your own music or have a DJ, please note we like to respect our neighbours therefore ask that music be played at a reasonable level. You may also decorate the room however we do not allow the use of adhesives which cause damage to our walls & ceiling such as blu tac & sellotape. We also do not allow the use of glitter or confetti. If you decide to decorate the room we ask the room be left as it was found.

Room hire rates & minimum spend requirements vary throughout the week please get in touch for further details.

To confirm a function room booking we ask for a £100 deposit which is fully refundable if the agreed minimum spend has been reached.

The evening was a great success, Mel and friends had a fantastic night. Your staff were amazing, the canapés were delicious. Everyone loved the venue. Thank you very much, we will definitely be having more events at the lordship.


60th Birthday

I just wanted to say thank you very much for letting us have the room last night. We were impressed by the room and the thoughtful addition of water, and the staff were also lovely. We had a great evening and hopefully managed to help a few people along the way.


Charity Meeting

Hi Andrew,

Everything was great, and the room was perfect for the occasion. A huge thank you to Barnaby as well as he was brilliant and made sure we were all well looked after on the day.

But I’d just like to thank you for organising it all. We all had a brilliant time and I’m sure we’ll be back for future family events!
